A Great War 14-20 War Medal and Victory Medal named to K44663 F. J. Hussey STO 2. R.N. and a George V Long Service and Good Conduct medal named to K44663 F.J. Hussey STO 1. H.M.S Victory, in a postal box with 39/45 and Atlantic Stars and War medal, lacking ribbons and insert, the box addressed to F.J. Hussey 58 Court Orchard, Bridport, Dorset. Frederick John Hussey was born on the 8th April 1899 in Bridport, the second of seven children he grew up in Netherbury. Initially he is recorded as serving from 31st July 1917 initially aboard Victory II as a Stoker, he is aboard HMS Enchantress when his medals were awarded. He served until the Second World War where records show that he had very good character and satisfactory efficiency.
