A Great War pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 151062 Cpl H.R. Newell R.E. With single dog tag, George V Royal Engineers cap badge and copied Medal Index Card and record of service. Henry Rowland Newell enlisted in the Royal Engineers in 1916 at the age of 36, a Carpenter from Kings Somborne in Hampshire prior to the war he served for five years with the volunteer force.
