An unusual pair of menu holders from the Boer War period, decorated with a standing figure of Paul Kruger, his head formed from a cast egg with white hair and holding a white flag of surrender, the other a similar caricature of Neville Chamberlain holding a piece of paper 'Transvaal', each 15.5 x 13.5cm. Printed to the reverse 'Williams & Bach 92 New Bond Street London'
