A collection of 63 photographs, 24 x 29 cm each stamped to the reverse 'R.B. Holmes &Co. Peshawar', many further marked 'Holmes' with a number to the image. These images with a printed list of available images in the 'Afghan War Series 1919', a series numbered from 1 - 373 'General List of Photographic Studies and views, from the Studio of R.B. Holmes & Co. Photographers 115, The Mall, Peshawar'. The folder marked to the front cover 'Adjutants office 4th Rajput ....' and '1st World War Photos Dunsterforce MS. Waziristan'. To include image 320 'Wana Column camped at Dargai Oba', 114 'Waziri Caravan types', 98 'Jirga with Kaniguram in background', 110 'Kaniguram picquets under snow' and others.
