An extensive collection of Primrose League badges, ephemera, medals, a 'Special Service 1889' badge and a large quantity of research. Contained in a folder. 58 badges.
Formed in by Winston Churchill's Father, Lord Randolph Churchill in 1883 in remembrance of Disraeli. A Tory party initiative to encourage membership amongst Women and the Young the motto of 'Empire and Liberty' there were over a million members at its peak at the end of the 19th century. It was wound up surprisingly recently in 2004.
