AN 1895 PATTERN ROYAL MARINES SWORD AND SCABBARD. With an 84cm partially fullered pointed blade with polished etched decoration with a crown above 'Gibraltar' a globe and 'Per Mare Per Terram' with Royal Cypher to the other side, stamped RM1 to the back, with a broad three-quarter guard pierced with VR beneath a crown, with wire wound shagreen handle and attached sword knot. The polished scabbard with twin ring suspension. 101cm overall.
