With a 21cm tapering circular barrel with underslung pivoting ram rod, the percussion firing mechanism with single hammer and trigger, with brass butt plate and trigger guard, steel back strap and various stamped marks including M.1820, 1823, 15 and others, the butt plate mearked '1843 1D 15'. 37cm.
