AN UNUSUAL AMERICAN PERCUSSION GUN BY G. GOULCHER. An American 'Squirrel Gun' with a 105cm octagonal barrel with sights, engraved in script to the top 'H A' with a percussion cap firing action, the sideplate engraved with a man firing a gun and 'G.Goulcher' for George Goulcher who provided parts for a number of gun makers during the firs half of the 19th century, the stock with an elaborate brass patchbox with wavy border, 146cm overall.
