A single barrel percussion firing muzzle loading shotgun with a 70cm barrel tapering from circular to octagonal, indistinctly marked to the top of the barrel and ramrod below, the percussion cap firing action with engraved hammer and side plate marked 'Calvert', with a similarly decorated trigger guard, walnut stock and butt plate. 113cm overall.
