A FINE MID 19TH CENTURY JACOBS RIFLE BY SWINBURN AND SONS.
A fine rifle with twin 59cm blued barrels, with three folding foresights and sighting gauge makred for up to 2000 yards, the under mounted ram rod with broad button end and hollowed tip, the bayonet mount marked B170, with twin hammer percussion firing action, the sideplates signed Swinburn & Son 1860. The stock with cap compartment signed 'Jacob's Rifles. 103cm overall.
