Gwilliam Williams joined the Royal Navy as a boy in 1931. He swerved until April 1957, 22 years or more certificate present.
One certificate confirms service on HMS Mercury. HMS Devonshire a Cruiser of 9750 Tons, took part in actions all over the globe. In November 1941 she sank the German Raider Atlantis, working with her Walrus Aircraft.
