A WW11-KOREA & L S G CONDUCT R NAVY GROUP OF EIGHT MEDALS. A 1939/45-Atlantic & Africa Stars, (bar North Africa 1942-43), Defence & War Medals unnamed as issued, Korea Medal named to D/JX 135455 G Williams C Y S RN. also a UN Korea Medal. A (GV1) Royal Navy Long Service Good Conduct Medal named to JX.135455 G Williams. Y.S. HMS Devonshire. Two original Wound or Hurt certificates, Life Saving Society certificates etc Gwilliam Williams joined the Royal Navy as a boy in 1931. He swerved until April 1957, 22 years or more certificate present. One certificate confirms service on HMS Mercury. HMS Devonshire a Cruiser of 9750 Tons, took part in actions all over the globe. In November 1941 she sank the German Raider Atlantis, working with her Walrus Aircraft. Yeoman of Signals on his LSGC, Chief Yeoman of Signals on his Korea Medal.
