MILITARY & NURSING MEDALS. A group of three medals to Captain G Pinney, in box of issue and complete with slip. 1939/45 Star, Africa Star with bar 8th Army. War Medal. Gerald Pinney 1907-1990 was serving in the Royal Corps of Signals during WW11. A copied photograph shows him on a horse in front of the Egyptian landscape. Also with the medals is his Regular Army Reserve of Officers lapel badge. A Voluntary Service in Nursing silver medal, named to Miss Muriel Graveley. Three further Red Cross Nursing awards with service bars, one named to M M Graveley. Miss Graveley was a Teacher by profession, a Voluntary Red Cross Nurse by choice. A copied photograph of her in uniform is with the medals.
