A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory Medals mounted for wear all three named to 5481 Pte B Weston Essex R.
Bernard Weston served with the 6th Battalion Essex Regt in Theatre (2b) The Balkans from the 9th December 1915. Later served with his Regt under Number 275940. MIC details.
However the Battalion History states after Gallipoli they saw service in Palestine-Suez Canal etc.
