A WELSH REGT CASUALTY TRIO. A 1914/15 Star, British War Medal & Victory Medal named to 22316 Pte G Way Welsh R. Gordon Way served with his Regiment in France from the 2nd December 1915. He Died of Wounds on the 20th August 1918. Gordon Way was serving in the 14th Battalion the Welsh Regiment and was 20 years old when he Died of Wounds received in action. Buried in Terlincthun British Cemetery Wimille Pas de Calais. The son of Frank and Ellen Way of 13 Glen View, Pentwyn Fochow. South Wales. He would have joined up under age as he was 16 or 17 years old when he was serving in France.
