MULLER'S SECURITY OF BRITAIN 1689 MEDALLION.
55mm diameter in silver coloured metal, with conjoined busts obverse. Gvilielmvs Et Maria Rex et Regina Brittaniae obverse legend. The reverse has Brittania seated with scales, cornucopia and staff with the cap of liberty atop. Under an orange tree with the legend Aurea Floriceris Succrescunt Poma Rosetis. Securitas Brittaniae 1689 below. An edge knock is apparent between 09:00-10:00 oclock. At 12:00 oclock a small centre punched? hole is evident.
Around the edge the legend Externo Male Pressa Iugo Brittania Pridem , In Priscas Iterum Respirat Libera Leges. Translates as Britain severly oppressed of late by a foreign yoke, again breathes free under her ancient laws.
