The most Venerable Order of St John of Jerusalem (Officers Breast Badge) in silvered/white enamel finish. 1939/45- Africa- Italy Stars. Defence & War Medals. 1953 Coronation Medal. GV1 Air Efficiency Award engraved naming to Sdn Ldr G P Smith R.A.F.V.R. The medals are mounted court style.
The British Medical Journal dated 6.6.1942 states 'Squadron Leader Gordon Primrose Smith R A F V R received the OBE (Military Division) in the New Years Honours. His name was missed when the lists were published in January, because his degrees MB. Ch. B .Ed were not included in the official entry in the London Gazette.
