A CONTINENTAL FALCHION
A Continental 19thC sidearm, with sawback falchion style blade. Cast brass hilt with crossguard ending in inset roundels, no makers markings on the 19" blade. Some rust covering evident, though does not appear too deeply set, a few marks of unit or armourer are visible on the blade, 1846 on the hilt.
