A GLOSTERS 1914 STAR/BAR TRIO. A 1914 Star with Clasp, British war & Victory Medals named to 7925 Pte J Sparrow. 1 Glouc R on the star with Glouc R on the latter two. Jesse Sparrow served in France from the 13th August 1914, having joined as a Volunteer in March 1905, from S W Badge records. Discharged with a Silver War Badge, aged 37 (Wounds). His badge number was 476303. With a Gloucestershire Regt Cap Badge and back badge.
