a large and impressive pair of Meiji period satsuma vases, each with a central panel painted with various ladies within a landscape scene and pagoda, each panel surrounded with a wide variety of flowers and foliage and also painted to the reverse with further flowers. Signed on both vases Kozan, and with original retailers paper labels for Y Taniguchi, and also signed. 31.5cms high. (2)
