Provenance: Sent by the artist and Edith Lawrence to the vendors' father and grandfather when the artists were living in Donhead St Andrew. The elder man, Ernest, had known Flight during the Great War and his son John tended the artists' goats seen on this card and in lot 2303 during his school and university holidays.
