A MID 19TH CENTURY CHINESE HORSE-RACING TROPHY CUP in the form of a vase with two dragon handles and a square pedestal base, the body and neck profusely chased with flowers & foliage on a matt ground, interspersed with ho-ho birds and banded by formal borders of vitruvian scrolls, gadrooning & Greek-key motifs, the front with an applied shield, inscribed "HONG KONG RACES 1850 CELESTIAL CUP Presented by D. JARDINE Esq., won by MR DUDGEON'S g.a.h. GREAT WESTERN, Ridden by J.
