COW HORN WITH BELT HOOK ATTACHED, possibly 18th century, with floral and circular carved decoration and metal studs to the rim, length 21cm Footnote: used for carrying grease and sand for sharpening tools in the field, the decoration was supposed to ward off evil spirits while working alone.
