the 18th century brass dial with an 8 3/4" silvered chapter ring enclosing a date aperture and inscribed John Curtis Chichester, on a brass eight day, four pillar movement hourly striking to a bell, the later ebonised case with fretwork and three quarter columns to the hood and panelled door to the trunk, with pendulum and weights, height 191cm
