FRENCH GILT METAL AND CHAMPLEVE MOUNTED CARRIAGE CLOCK, the gilt chapter ring with floral centre and spandrils on a brass, eight day, repeating movement chiming to two gongs on the quarter hour, stamped serial number 20366, the silvered platform inscribed Fast and Slow visible through an oval window, the case with champleve side panels and chased & gilded with floral sprays on a textured ground throughout, the back door with closing apertures for winding and adjusting the hands, with key, height excluding handle 14cm.
NB: Appears to read 'T.R. Russell - Liverpool' on the top arch of the chapter ring.
