NELSON INTEREST: BLACK BASALT CREAM JUG, early 19th century, probably Elijah Mayer, a shell cartouche depicting Britannia and an angel inscribing a shield 'Nelson Oct 21' before an obelisk, the reverse with a similar cartouche with trophies of war, a pyramid and castle beneath the banner 'Trafalgar' and the naval ensign, on a wrigglework ground beneath a Greek key border and handle, length 11.5cm
