the openwork design is centred with three graduated old brilliant-cut diamonds and set overall with single-cut diamonds, 5.2cm. wide.
Provenance: Olga de Hollogne (1896-1998) and thence by family descent to the present owner.
Olga de Hollogne was the youngest nurse engaged at the Belgian military hospital of Petit Fort Philippe, near Gravelines in the Pas-de-Calais, during the First Word War and also the last surviving nurse of that war dying in 1998 at the age of 102.
This lot is accompanied by Olga de Hollogne's photograph album celebrating her 100th birthday.
