FRAMED DISPLAY OF FISHING HOOKS - JOHN JAMES & SONS, REDDITCH an oak frame containing two silk panels, each mounted with a variety of metal fishing hooks. With a letter to the reverse from Milward's Fish Hooks, stating that this was probably made around 1909. Marked on the mount, Manufactured by John James & Sons Ltd, Victoria Works, Redditch. Frame 49cms by 46cms *John James & Sons was established in 1835 in Redditch, Worcestershire, becoming a limited company in 1902. They were known as manufacturers of Fishing Hooks and needles, and this was probably produced in the early 20thc for promotional purposes.
