ARNOLD PALMER GOLF CLUBS - ROLEX GOLF TOURNAMENT, JAPAN
a set of Arnold Palmer golf clubs, used by him at the Rolex Golf Tournament, Japan 1968. Comprising 10 irons, 5 woods (with head covers) and 1 putter, and in a Rolex Golf Bag. With a signed letter from Arnold Palmer giving thanks for a photograph album of the event (1979), a photograph of Palmer with the clubs, a Arnold Palmer golf ball mounted on a Rolex stand, Trophy Cup (Rolex Tournament 1968) etc.
*Palmer became the first Rolex Golf Ambassador in 1967, and played in this tournament in Tokyo soon after the Rolex Tokyo Branch opened. The clubs were given to the current vendor who worked for Rolex in Tokyo at that time.
