an ingot of Tin in a wooden presentation box, the ingot stamped Tamar Tin Smelting Co, Tamar Works, E4. The label in the box reads, A 19thc ingot weighing 12 kilos from the Tamar Smelting Company, Weirquay, Devon. It was salvaged from the wreck of the steamer SS Cheerful that was sunk off St Ives in 1885. Ingot 44cms long
