A BROWN BESS MUSKET & BAYONET.
A 39" barrel Brown Bess musket with attached bayonet. The lockplate marked with Tower and Crown over GR. also a ordnance mark. Steel ramrod below the barrel and brass furniture, marked 50 Dorset on the breech. Probably Militia issue, with a white leather sling, 72.3/4" overall length with bayonet affixed.
