A KUCHENREITER FLINTLOCK PISTOL.
A flinlock pistol with ornately decorated barrel, with J Christoph Kuchenreiter and makers plate inset of a horseman above ICK. The octagonal barrel of 9.3/4" length, is partially inlaid with swirl embellishments. Flintlock action bears the partial name of Kuchen....amid wear etc, marks. Underslung ramrod with horn tip, almost fullstocked with flared butt and plain grip. 15.1/2" overall length.
The Kuchenreiter family were famous Gun Makers, during various generations of their working years.
