A QUEEN ANNE PISTOL BY T READ W. BASSETT.
A Queen Anne style flintlock pistol with turn-off 2.1/4" barrel and steel furniture. The centre hammer action pistol has plain grips and engraved action with T.Read and W,Bassett on reverse faces. 8" overall length.
Possibly Read was a supplier from Wotton Bassett, not a known maker.
