A .31 caliber Colt 1849 model percussion pocket six-shot revolver, number 217991 on most parts. On the engraved chamber is No 17991, under Colts Patent and stage coach scenes. Brass rear frame with steel action , chamber and 4" barrel with 'Address Col Saml Colt New-York U S America on the top. Colts Patent marked frame.
