A U BOAT COMPASS.
A Great war period German Untersee Boat bearing compass, in its original tin of issue. Taken from a U Boat during that period, the 'Kompass' is marked Steger Jr of Kiel. Folding arms to obtain bearing, adjust on the dual faced dial of 5.1/2" diameter. An old label states 'Taken from German Submarine M398.
