a painted pine wooden Noah's Ark, with an opening on one side of the roof. Also with a variety of carved and painted wooden animal figures, and Noah and his Wife. Ark marked on one end, War Relief Toy Work. Ark 87cms long
*The War Relief Toy Works were based in Stoke Newington, London, and was established as a Charity after WW1 for injured Soldiers. Injured Soldiers would have worked on various toys with money raised going towards the charity. A number of Noah's Arks have appeared in auction over the years made by this charity.
