POSTAL HISTORY - PRE STAMP COVERS
an interesting collection of pre stamp covers dating from the early 1800's (circa 1810-1830) all seem to relating to Brocklehurst & Co Bankers, Macclesfield (Macclesfield Bank established in 1816, by the Brockleshurst family). With postal marks for Stourbridge, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, Middlewich, Stockport, Warrington, Birmingham etc. Also with a later 1860 cover with One Penny Stamp.
