an interesting album of lace specimens and samples, bound in an Ottoman embroidered linen. Marked inside the album My Lace Book, Mary Sharp 1898, it includes mounted examples of lace and needlework including Buckingham, Devon, Honiton, Nottingham, Italian, French, Flemish, Maltese, Spanish, Irish, Brussels and Swiss. Each page has some written information about the sample next to it, and the album comes in a pine box. Album 28cms by 21cms.
