A 1st ROYAL DRAGOONS OVAL BADGE etc. A Regimental badge for the 1st Royal Dragoons, with motto Spectemur Agendo surrounding an eagle itself clutching the 'French 105 eagle' captured at Waterloo. Possibly a shoulderbelt badge with three screw fixings and nuts to the rear. 2.3/4" high and 2.1/8th wide. See Illustration
