GT WAR MEDALS. Including a 1914/15 Star named to Maj P A Legge R.A. Percy Aulagnier Legge was serving in the Reserve of Officers, Pembroke Militia 15/5/1899. Passing the Officers (Captains) exam he was stationed at Carrickfergus, Antrim Royal Garrison Artillery in 1906. In 1912 he was serving as an Officer in Civil and Military Employment of Customs. Reserve of Officers 1912 (Major) attached Colonial Office. (Gold Coast Regt) see GCR Bwm roll. Eligible for the SWB in 1919 LG 22/11/1919. Served in Theatre of War 4D (Africa). 8-8-1914. Medals Address given as Constables Cottage, Felixstowe, Suffolk. 2. A British War Medal named Capt F J McCarthy. Entitled to a pair only serving in the RAMC, medals sent to 43 Stafield Rd, Liverpool later New Rd. Laxey. IOM.
