Frederick Arthur Hodgkins was a native of Notting Hill, London. Born there in 1896 the son of Frederick Archibald and Jane Sara Hodgkins, 5 Crescent Street, Notting Hill.
He would have been 18 years old when he served in France from the 19/1/1915, with his regiment.
He was awarded the Military Medal, prior to being Killed in Action 20th November 1917.
Serving with the 2nd Battalion of his regiment when he was killed, he is buried at Oxford Road Cemetery in Belgium.
