Named to Arthur Herbert Harbord who served as Pte 1396 in the 1st Norfolk Yeomanry
Born in Gt Yarmouth and enlisted Gt Yarmouth, the son of Alderman Arthur Harbord JP MP and C N Harbord of 60, St Peters Road, Gt Yarmouth.
Died 6th November 1915 in Malta, buried in Pieta Military Cemetery aged 21 yrs.
Possibly from his regiments service in Gallipoli, thence to Hospital in Malta.
The Harbord family were well known in the Norfolk circles, including the Barons Suffield. (Harbord-Hamonds)
