A Queens South Africa Medal with bars Relief of Ladysmith-Paardeberg and Dreifontein, named to 3206 Pte F Ladley 10th Hussars. A Kings South Africa Medal with bars South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902. 3206 Pte F Ladley 10/Hrs on the latter.
Frederick Ladley of Mablethorpe joined the 10th Hussars at Dublin aged 18 yrs and 9 months in July 1892. His fathers occupation listed as Coal Heaver.
At times the names used were Ladley and Ladlow, for some reason.
