AN 8th BEDFORD REGIMENT TRIO. A 1914/15 Star, British War & Victory Medals named to 16559 Pte H M Card. Bedf R. Harry M Card served in the 8th Battalion the Bedfordshire Regiment in France from 30/8/1915. He was placed on the Class Z reserve in 1919. He enlisted aged 17 years old being born in January 1898, his unmarried mother was a 'widow' by 1915. His father Harry Martin Card lived in Hildenborough Kent, in 1898. One of six children, four brothers and two sisters. He was a Fireman in London in the post war years. Mounted for wear with photocopied details.
