A FLINTLOCK SPORTING GUN.
A Flintlock Sporting Gun with an early barrel bearing H A? indistinct makers initials and proof marks. Consisting of a Crown over 'V' and a Crown over 'P', on the 42" round barrel. Fullstocked with wooden ramrod present, brass furniture and buttplate. Having an interesting lock and action, in the continental style, some 57.1/2" overall length. There has been a repair to a small section of the stock, the action in working order.
