AN INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD.
An 1897 pattern GV period sword, complete with partial brown leather field scabbard (some loss to chafe). Very clean blade marked J R Gaunt & Son Ltd, late of Edward Thurkle, London & Birmingham. GV cypher on both blade and in the rust affected guard.
