CASED RN OFFICERS HAT & EPAULETTES.
A cased officers Fore & Aft hat, with Victorian buttons marked Galt Portsmouth. The black jappaned tin with Dr Henry Richardson RN engraved brass plate. A pair of Victorian Epaulettes with single star affixed.
The Naval List for 1900 mentions a Flt Surgeon Henry Anthony Wills Richardson, FS 1894. Awarded an Egypt Medal and Khedives Star, possibly the same man.
