A GERMAN BUTCHER BAYONET by FERDINAND SCHLEUTERMANN.
A very clean 1898/05 blade date marked 1915 on the spine, with a trumpeting Herald and Stahlblume. A. W. trademark. Ferdinand Schleutermann supplied blades to A W Schulte & Co, during the Great War. Complete with its steel scabbard and leather frog, some rusting evident to the hilt and scabbard.
