Arthur Henry Oliver was from Tarrant Monkton, Blandford, Dorset. Originally enlisting in 1899, he served on the Hospital Ship SS Maine, HMS Duke of Wellington and Majestic.
Re-enlisting in September 1914, he served in Dunkirk and the Siege of Antwerp, being taken Prisoner of War. He was repatriated in 1919 and Discharged Unfit that year. (Invalided).
