A HEAVY CAVALRY SWORD.
A 1796 pattern officers undress sword, with straight 32.1/4" blade with narrow central fuller each side. The blade marked Underhill and Cooper.Warranted, who are noted as working in 1803. Some other decoration is evident to the blade, lacking a scabbard. Having a gilt shell guard with straight pattern fluted end quillon.
